Chris Weber

Born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany; Chris Weber began his technical training in 2008.  After three years of training and competitions, he continued work as a Frankfurt based stylist until 2012 when his thirst for adventure inspired Chris to move to beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. Since his arrival on Canadian soil, Chris has quickly risen the ranks to become one of Vancouver’s most well-known stylists;  often consulted for hair trend reports, frequenting 'Top Stylists' lists for subsequent years and working closely with local influencers-- Xander Vintage, To Vogue or Bust, and Tobruck Ave. In addition, Chris has made his mark on Vancouver’s emerging fashion scene with styling various fashion shoots, editorials, Vancouver Fashion Week and his collaborative blog, Vancouver Style, with famed tattoo artist, Shaughnessy Keely. 

 

Chris continued to perfect his art at Main street staple, Barbarella, for four years before taking a five-month tour to his homeland Germany to work on european fashion projects, collaborate with influencer Leonie Markhorst @noa noir & Lina Mallon and accept a prestigious guest spot at Hamburg’s top salon, Moij. 

 

In 2016, Chris returned to Vancouver to begin his own company currently based out of Fraser street’s newest trend studio,  Artel Salon. Future plans for Chris include guests spots in Europe, Asia and the US, styling for international magazines and fashion shows; as well as teaching specialized colour classes. 

 

Chris is best known for his soft, natural blondes and dreamy pastels; he enjoys creative styles and specializes in edge cuts. He uses a variety of colour lines, products and attends numerous classes and educational seminars to continue his evolution as an artist and ensure a vast creative landscape. Chris’ reputation has extended the Canadian border to include international clientele from France, Germany, Australia and the US.

 

Chris and husband Patrick enjoy discovering coffee shops, meeting new people, exploring the great outdoors and have recently taken up yoga.
